Welcome to Monroe Alternative Charter School!

The staff at the Monroe Alternative Charter School strives to exemplify the district goal of “Taking Responsibility for All Students.” When it comes to educating our students, we recognize that “one size does not fit all”! Our school offers an alternative learning environment for students in grades 9 through 12 whose educational needs are not being met in a traditional school setting. We focus on developing academic competence and interpersonal skills in an atmosphere that emphasizes personal responsibility and accountability. The alternative setting and small class sizes allow staff to provide an individualized approach to academic instruction and to serve as mentors for our students.   I invite you to contact me using the above email link or telephone number if you would like additional information regarding our school, curriculum, or program structure.
