The School District of Monroe is proud to announce the release of the 2024 District Report Card!
The District achieved a 4-star rating of Exceeds Expectations. This rating represents the incredible dedication of the students, staff, parents, and community that have worked tirelessly to improve district and school performance outcomes.
It is important to note that the Department of Public Instruction recently changed their proficiency rating scale. While these scale score changes make it more challenging to compare results to previous years, percentile scores can be used to determine current performance relative to other districts and schools across the state.
The District made significant strides in student growth and support of target group students (at-risk students), as represented by the percentile scores identified in the graphic above. For details on the incredible improvement the District has made over the last four years, please read the press release linked below.
Rodney Figueroa, School District of Monroe Superintendent, stated, "Both administrative and staff leadership over the last several years in developing, implementing, and improving systems which offer our Monroe students higher personal access to learning at all levels is to be commended. Leveraging and optimizing available resources as well as placing resources in areas with higher needs demonstrates the commitment and dedication of the entire educational team in Monroe."
