Cheesemaker Meal Pickup Program
FREE breakfast and lunch are available for ALL children 18 and under in the School District of Monroe through the 2020-21 school year. (This does not include Ala Carte items, 2nd meal charges, or milk for nutrition break and milk for students bringing cold lunch). The School District of Monroe also offers a meal pick-up service for students during their virtual learning weeks, for Plan H students, and for eligible children who are not enrolled but reside in the School District of Monroe. Meal Pick-up is available at the Alternative Charter School Building located at 1220 16th Avenue. Pick-up hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 11:00am and 3:00pm to 4:30pm, and Fridays 7am-4:30pm (excluding holidays and holiday breaks). Curbside pick-up is available by calling 608-328-7288 when you arrive at the Meal Pick-up location.

Backpack Buddies Program

The Backpack Buddies Program works to support families that do not have enough food to adequately support all members of the family. The program regularly delivers a pack of food to supplement the food source within the home. This service is provided to our most vulnerable and at-risk families and is completely funded with community donations. If you are interested in participating in the Backpack Buddies program, please contact the School Counselor or Health Aide at your child's school.
If you would like to help support the Backpack Buddies program we are currently accepting monetary donations only. Checks can be made out to the School District of Monroe with "Backpack Buddies" on the memo line and mailed to: School District of Monroe District Administrative Office, 925 16th Ave. Suite 3, Monroe, WI 53566.
