EIE Pickleball Tournament

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the EIE Foundation hosted a pickleball tournament at Northeast Park on the new Colony Brands Foundation Pickleball Courts. This is a new fundraiser for the EIE Foundation, featuring 14 teams in the Co-Ed tournament and 9 teams in the Family tournament.

Participants braved the heat and rain to play, and what a fun fundraiser! Winners of the co-ed tournament were Steve Monte and Irene Barris. The winners of the family tournament were Jerry Bolivar and his daughter, Samara. First-place winners received $50.00 in Monroe Money, second-place winners received $30.00, and third-place winners received $20.00.

EIE hopes to make this event an annual event and wants to thank all of the EIE Foundation members who came out and helped at the tournament. We would also like to thank everyone who participated and Lanz-McArdle Insurance for sponsoring the tournament. Without all of you, we couldn’t have had such a successful fundraiser.
