          The School District of Monroe is always looking for individuals to substitute in our schools for both our teaching staff and in support roles.

          If you are a Wisconsin Content Licensed Teacher, the pay is $200 a day. This new pay structure begins November 1, 2024.

          If you have an associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and have successfully completed an approved substitute training program then you can apply! You do not need a degree in Education. The pay is $140 a day and the rate increases to $257.48 a day if you spend 10 or more consecutive school days in the same assignment. There is a brief online training required. The school district will give you the information needed to do the training, and we will reimburse your class fee of $39.95 and your sub-license fee of $125.00 once you have subbed for us at least 10 times.

          For those interested in substitute positions for aides, secretaries, custodians, and food service a high school diploma or GED is required. The pay is $19.50 an hour. Please call 608-328-7236 for more information on how to apply.
